Sourcing rules
Primary documents outrank press. Press outranks portals. Portals outrank hearsay, and hearsay does not get printed. The backbone sources for this site are the NICDC Delivery Monitoring Unit reporting to DPIIT, the DSIRDA Sanctioned Development Plan, Gujarat government pages for Dholera SIR, PIB releases, and named-company primary pages. Where only trade press exists, the claim is labelled as reported. Where nothing reliable exists, the honest sentence is that the number is not reliably sourced, and that sentence gets printed instead of a guess.
The tier tags
DURABLE: settled fact, confirmed by a primary source or by multiple independent credible sources. REPORTED: credibly reported, but single-sourced, undated, or awaiting confirmation. TARGET: an announced intention with a date attached. Targets are treated with respect and suspicion in equal measure, because Dholera's public history includes targets that slipped for a decade. An achieved target gets re-tagged only when the achievement itself is sourced.
Hard rules
No invented numbers, ever, including plot prices: per-unit broker quotes are not reliably sourced, so this site does not print them. No guarantees of appreciation, because no government source guarantees appreciation and neither does arithmetic. Neutrality on every named developer: a mention is never an endorsement, a listing is never a ranking, and buyer diligence advice applies to every seller equally. One line appears wherever buying comes up, because it is the whole game: buy only GUJRERA-registered projects inside the SIR with clear title, verified yourself.
Corrections
When I get something wrong, the fix is visible: the passage is corrected in place, the correction is dated, and an entry is logged on the corrections page. Silent edits are forbidden. If you catch an error, write to editor@dholera.blog and you will be credited unless you prefer otherwise.
Independence
Nobody pays for coverage. No developer, broker, or agency has any commercial relationship with this site. I hold no Dholera land and no position in any company named here. The day either changes, it gets disclosed on this page before the next piece publishes.
